Ahmed Gelby
Egyptian-born and London-based engineer and producer Ahmed has been working with a diverse catalogue of artists across the globe. Driven by the art of mixing records and what began as mere curiosity at a very young age has now turned into a career. He co-runs the London based label University of Tropical Sound and produces for electronic music acts like Diezmo & Carthnage among others.
Ahmed has been an AES member since 2019 and is a member of AES Standards SC-02-01/SC-02-12 Working Groups, and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In academia, his research focuses on immersive audio, mix translation and adaptive mixing for cinema.
