Stuart Gillan
Stuart is an electro-acoustic engineer and owner of Soundscape, the UK
and Ireland distributor for the Vivace electronic room acoustics
system. He has been a member of the AES since 2008 and is one of the
founder members of the Scottish Regional Group.
Stuart has over 40 years’ experience in live touring, location and
outside broadcast audio for film and TV, and in audio
post-production/mastering using Pro Tools. Stuart’s interests lie in
immersive audio and variable acoustic systems. He is a musician and a
full member of the Institute of Acoustics.
Stuart is particularly keen to promote AES membership to professional
colleagues and promote career development within the AES.
